The purpose of micro-support within Environmental Lift is to contribute to increased knowledge and broader anchoring for efforts related to transition and economic, social or ecological sustainability.

What can you search for?
Within micro support Environmental Lift you can apply for support for skills development within sustainability such as seminars, study visits or perhaps a trial day about meadow mowing. The support can also be sought to develop collaborations around sustainability issues or to test the conditions for initiatives such as lending banks, transport pools and exchange days.
Who can apply?
Applicants can be associations, networks (several private individuals in collaboration) or several companies in collaboration and that operate in rural areas or in the archipelago in Norrtälje, Österåker, Vaxholm, Värmdö, Haninge or Nynäshamn.
When can you apply?
Applications are accepted as long as there is money left to distribute. Decisions are made by a decision-making committee within Leader Stockholmsbygd.

Maximum searchable amount: 50,000 SEK
Support level: 100 % of the costs
Co-financing: You need to co-finance micro-support with at least 50 percent of the support amount you are applying for.
Co-financing consists of non-profit commitment/work.

Meeting Place Sand – education and reuse
The non-profit association Nämdö Green Archipelago, together with the Nämdö local heritage association, has created a reuse shop and installed a freezer for direct sales of fallow deer meat through trust trade. The idea behind the microproject was to create a meeting place in the old school building in Sand that encourages sustainable consumption. This has also been a preparation for the fact that the national park of the Nämdö archipelago is likely to open in 2025.
Knattelabb
The non-profit association Nämdö Green Archipelago, together with the Nämdö local heritage association, has created a children's lab in Sand on Nämdö. The lab was set up with equipment that children and families could use to explore and learn about the sea and nature in the Baltic Sea landscape, as well as how it is affected by humans. In connection with the lab, there has also been a craft workshop. The idea was to inspire the next generation to engage in improving the environment of the Baltic Sea landscape.
Taste of Värmdö – MAGAZINE
Taste of Värmdö economic association consists of members who work with food production and food craftsmanship. In the microproject, the association has created a magazine with the theme of local food production from a sustainability perspective. The purpose was to spread information in Värmdö about sustainable local food production, to highlight the members' activities, and for the association to test creating a magazine for the first time. The hope is that the microproject will lead to the association being able to publish more magazines in the long term.
