Music power Roslagen

The Musikkraft Roslagen project is divided into the following three parts; Vaxholm Master classes is music education for young people, a newly formed collaboration group is creating a new network with tourism industry actors in the local community, and an annually recurring chamber music festival will be started in Vaxholm.

Vaxholm Master classes is an initiative for children and young people in the archipelago and surrounding areas who want to meet and develop through music. The concept is developed together with five local culture schools for the individual students' conditions and needs. The target group is students aged 11 to 17 years, who attend Culture Schools in Roslagen/Archipelago.

To increase cultural tourism in the area, a network of local tourism industry actors will collaborate around events and experience-based services. Finally, an annually recurring chamber music festival could become an established meeting place and an event in close harmony with local actors.
