The last date to submit an application in the Swedish Board of Agriculture's e-service is October 22, ahead of the LAG board's upcoming decision meeting on November 27. Applications that are not completed in time may be processed at a later meeting.
In order for your application to be processed by the LAG board, you need to always start by contacting the Leader office. We will go through the project idea, basic conditions, and other requirements together to ensure the application is complete.
We currently have a high demand for applications and our resources for advice are limited. This means that:
- preliminary contact is essentially mandatory, and should take place at least 4 weeks before the final application deadline
- we will have a dialogue with you about the project idea, inform about the requirements and conditions for our support, schedule a meeting for in-depth dialogue and advice and discuss your drafts so that you can finalize a complete application.
- we cannot guarantee that everyone who submits an application will be included in the next decision meeting. The board holds 4 decision meetings per year and during high application pressure, applications may be addressed at a later time.
- only complete and assessable applications proceed to the LAG board's decision meeting and review
- applications are prioritized based on how well they meet the basic conditions and selection criteria.
- The final decision is made by the Swedish Board of Agriculture, which currently can take about 4-6 months after the LAG board's decision on prioritization.
